Screenings/Evaluations

Beginnings is an approved evaluator of children under age five. Evaluation team members work closely with families, county Early Intervention Service Coordinators (for children birth to age 2) and school districts (for children ages 3-5) to provide quality multidisciplinary evaluations. Members of the evaluation team participate with the family and others in developing individualized annual goals and objectives. For children under three, these are part of the Individualized Family Services Plan (IFSP) and for children 3-5, a part of the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). All staff are appropriately NYS licensed and/ or certified.
